Job Summary
Conduct bedside shift reports and care for post-op orthopedic/surgical patients on a fast-paced unit. Manage 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) with every other weekend scheduling and zero call requirements. Maintain Alabama or compact licensure, provide 14 days of maximum time off, and complete required pre-employment modules including BLS certification. This role requires 24 months of Medical Surgical-Orthopedic Unit experience with recent acute care exposure. Candidates must submit charge/lead references and identification; local candidates living within 50 miles may be processed as local.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months
- 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months
- Alabama license or compact license
- 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Orlando Health
- no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Orlando Health
- Bedside shift report
- Post-op experience
- Every other weekend
- Call requirements: 0
- 14 days maximum time off
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
- Proof of identification required
