Job Summary
Conduct night shifts on the Neuro/Ortho unit with a 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM schedule, working 36 or 48 hours per week for a 13-week travel assignment. Maintain a Texas or compact license, hold NIHSS and BLS certifications, and demonstrate 24 months of Medical Surgical-Orthopedic Unit experience with 12 months total and 3 months in the last year. Submit to the program with a valid driver's license matching claimed residence and complete required pre-employment modules. Note that candidates must have a 6-month separation from Ascension Health and cannot be current employees.

- Driver's license
- Driver's license/state ID address must match claimed residence to receive travel rate
- Driver's license is required for RNs working on a compact license
- Ascension specialty exam required; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, only 2 attempts allowed
- Ascension EKG exam required; passing score of at least 80%, only 2 attempts permitted
- Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles
- Candidates must have at least 6 months of separation from Ascension to be considered for a travel position
- 2 Charge/Lead references required
