Job Summary
Conduct night shift coverage on a post-surgical orthopedic unit with a 1:5 patient ratio, managing procedures such as joint reconstruction, spine surgery, and PCA pump administration. Float within MCHS to Tele and occasionally to MCD as needed. Maintain 24 months of total experience with 12 months in medical surgical-orthopedic settings, including 9 months within the last year. Submit clear acceptance within 24 hours to secure the auto-offer for a 13-week travel assignment starting ASAP.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience
- 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience
- 9 months within the last 12 months
- 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months
- Texas license or compact license
- Must be able to work needed shifts
- Must live >50 miles from facility
- Driver's license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
