Job Summary
Conduct acute medical-surgical oncology patient care, managing units with osteomyelitis, chemo, SBO, sepsis, and TRAM cases. Provide 12-hour shifts in 7P-7A or 7A-7P rotations, working 36 or 48 hours weekly with flexible weekend coverage. Maintain a New York license and complete required pre-employment modules. Candidates must live over 50 miles from the facility, take 12 months off from University of Rochester Medical Center affiliates, and hold current BLS certification. This travel assignment at Highland Hospital requires a 16-week contract with at least one holiday worked.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months worked in the last 18 months
- New York license
- COVID vaccination
- 1 year recent experience in acute med surg/tele and oncology
- 2 years of U.S. work experience (for non U.S. candidates)
- 2 years recent experience in acute med surg/tele
- Must take 12 months off from any University of Rochester Medical Center affiliate
- Must work at least 1 holiday per contract
- Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule
- 14 days maximum time off
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Registered license type
- NY license state
