Job Summary
Conduct night shift coverage in Medical Surgical Oncology, managing acute oncology symptoms, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, sickle cell crisis, and end-of-life care. Handle outpatient patients finishing treatment after the outpatient area closes. Maintain BLS and NIHSS certifications while working exclusively on the floor using Meditech. This role requires 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 3 months of travel experience, a Georgia license, and a driver's license. Candidates must live over 75 miles from the facility and complete COVID vaccination. Schedule involves every other weekends with rotating holidays, 12-hour shifts, and a maximum of 14 days time off.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years)
- 3 months of travel experience
- Georgia license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- 12 months gap between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney

- At least one reference from the same unit/specialty as the job
- Driver's license
