Medical Surgical Nurse

Perform Apheresis procedures autonomously in critical care, emergency rooms, and outpatient centers, including plasma exchange, red cell exchange, and leukapheresis. Access central venous catheters, vortex ports, and bard ports while assessing patient status relative to therapeutic apheresis using the nursing process and laboratory results. Act as a consultant to external healthcare personnel, coordinate treatments with physicians across multiple hospitals, and evaluate medication compatibility for procedure safety. Assemble, restock, and maintain supplies and equipment to ensure a clean, safe environment. Variable 1st shift Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with rotating on-call duties. Full COVID-19 vaccination required.
