Job Summary
Conduct Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit care for adult and geriatric patients, including floating to ED for boarders as needed. Manage night shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) with every third weekend rotation, working 36 or 48 hours weekly. Maintain Massachusetts licensure and complete required pre-employment modules, including labs within 48 hours of signing. Demonstrate 24 months of MSICU experience, 12 months of community hospital background, and 3 months of Epic proficiency. Submit 2 charge/lead references from the last 12 months and hold BLS and ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience
- 3 months of Epic experience
- Massachusetts license
- Community hospital experience
- Previous Medical ICU and Surgical ICU experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Every third weekend required (Friday - Saturday)
- Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week
- 14 days maximum time off
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification required
