Job Summary
Conduct 12-hour night shifts in a Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit setting, requiring 12 months of ICU experience and 24 months total nursing tenure. Manage patient care during 3 shifts per week with a 14-day maximum time off allowance. Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications while holding a Connecticut or compact license. Coordinate with a Charge/Lead reference from the last two years and complete required pre-employment modules. This assignment offers a $2450 weekly rate for 17 weeks starting September 2026, with a preference for trauma Level 1 experience.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience
- 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience
- 3 months of travel experience
- Connecticut license or compact license
- Local & travel allowed
- COVID vaccination
- COVID booster
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
- Cannot currently be employed anywhere else on a per-diem basis
- 14 days maximum time off
