Job Summary
RN provides specialized Neuro/Med-Surg ICU nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation of individualized patient care, supervision of non-RN personnel, and potential roles as preceptor and charge nurse. Responsibilities include managing neuro-focused care, airway management, suctioning for tracheostomy patients, caring for patients with Halo braces and ventilators, coordinating care with the healthcare team, documenting plans and education for patients and families, and contributing to teaching through the Tia program. Requires BSN-preferred education and CT RN license; BLS required; experience in Med/Surg RN settings is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing; BSN Preferred.
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
- Med/Surg RN experience required.
