Job Summary
Medical-Surgical ICU RN provides comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care on a nursing unit, with supervision of non-RN personnel and potential assignment as charge nurse. Requires proficiency in neuro-focused care, airway management, tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and education for patients and families. BSN preferred; CT RN license required for practice. Performs education and care coordination per unit policies, with emphasis on patient-centered, compassionate care and adherence to nursing standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing; BSN Preferred.
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Certification Required
