Job Summary
Staff Nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) for a 36-hour night shift. Provides care for patients in the Medical ICU, collaborates with the care team to deliver safe, high-quality patient- and family-centered care, and adheres to I CARE Standards. Requires graduation from an approved nursing program with Massachusetts registration; Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required for newly licensed nurses. Minimum 1 year of recent Critical Care nursing experience; ICU experience strongly preferred. ACLS is required; CCRN certification is preferred. Ability to work weekend rotations per the MNA contract. Onsite work location at 75 Francis Street, Boston, MA. EEO statements and accommodations information are included in the posting.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required for newly licensed nurses.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year recent Critical Care nursing experience; Medical ICU experience strongly preferred.
- Certification: ACLS; CCRN certification preferred.
- Other: Ability to work weekend rotation per MNA contract.
