Job Summary
Travel Medical-Surgical Float Pool RN needed for a 13-week contract. Requires Wisconsin or compact nursing license and will float to multiple units. Local not allowed; candidates must live >50 miles from the facility. Vein puncture and Cardizem experience required, with ports and Foley/straight cath management and stable drips. BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required. Shift details include 3pm-11:30pm and 11pm-7:30am depending on assignment; travel nursing role with no recruiter contact and an emphasis on independent onboarding. 1/4-7 patient ratio; interview with unit manager may be followed by third-party interview. Licenses: WI; Certifications: BLS, NIH Stroke Scale.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or Certificate
- Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIH Stroke Scale
- Venipuncture experience
- Cardizem experience
- Ports, Foley/straight cath, and stable drips experience
