Job Summary
Conduct medical surgical float pool coverage in a 12-hour night shift, managing patients with pre-post cath, post pacemaker, and TR Band cases at a 1:5-6 ratio. Provide care for Med/Surg and COVID patients, with rare pediatric cases, while floating throughout the facility or to other ThedaCare locations as needed. Maintain a 36-month medical surgical float pool experience, including recent travel and Epic proficiency, and adhere to weekend rotations. Submit BLS certification and references for onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- 36 months of experience
- 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 36 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience
- 3 months of travel experience
- 3 months of Epic experience within the last 12 months
- ADN completion
- Wisconsin license or compact license
- Experience with pre-post cath
- Experience with post pacemaker
- Experience with TR Bands
- 9 days maximum time off
- 1 Charge/Lead reference from within the last 3 years
- 1 Manager/Supervisor reference from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
