Job Summary
RN/Medical & Surgery Nurse on a contract basis covering four Emergency Departments in South Carolina. Responsibilities include rapid triage, comprehensive patient assessments across the lifespan, recognizing and reporting changes in status, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring clear handoff communication, providing emotional support to patients and families, and advocating for patient rights and wishes. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN licensure, and typically prior nursing experience in acute care settings. Shift pattern includes 12-hour days with a rotation, and position offers relocation assistance and sign-on incentives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required
- One year relevant experience, preferred
