Job Summary
Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) at BioLife Plasma Services (Takeda) in Fond du Lac, WI. Responsible for determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and notifying donors of unsuitable results. Works under Center Manager/Assistant Manager and Center Physician guidance, following SOPs for medical emergencies, donor safety, and vaccination programs. Requires RN licensure (or equivalent), CPR/AED cert, IV therapy requirements, and at least two years of clinical experience; includes on-site duties at a part-time plasma center with a $1,500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent including graduate nursing program with state requirements
- State RN licensure (or NP/PA as applicable)
- Current CPR and AED certification
- Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
- FDA-approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
- Two years of clinical or hospital experience
