Job Summary
Provides pediatric patient-care support, assisting clinicians with exams, diagnostic procedures, and treatments; administers medications per Health System policy; conducts nursing assessments to identify physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs and helps develop and implement an individualized plan of care; documents assessments, interventions, and test results in the medical record; assists with patient flow and education of patients and families; participates in the Health System’s compliance program.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification or EMT
- American Heart Association BLS Certification required within first week of orientation and maintained throughout employment
