Medical Support Assistant, SGPA, FT, Float Pool

Manage patient care using clinical skills and judgment to deliver services within guidelines while capturing patient charges. Review diagnostic test results, administer medications per policy, and assist with patient flow, exams, and minor procedures. Support the clinical team in nursing assessments to prioritize needs, evaluate interventions, and develop patient/family education plans. Document assessments, interventions, responses, medication reconciliation, and test results in the medical record. Participate in the Health System's compliance program. Maintain American Heart Association BLS certification. Requires Medical Assistant Certification or EMT licensure; high school diploma preferred.
