Medical Support Assistant (Medical Receptionist)

Job Summary
Provide front-desk and administrative support at VA clinics: schedule appointments, manage the Electronic Waiting List, conduct ROI processing, verify insurance, handle travel reimbursements and ambulance claims, and arrange transportation for patients. Requires US citizenship, a two-year degree and two years of related experience or certification, proficiency with computer programs (spreadsheets, word processing), strong phone and communication skills, familiarity with medical terminology, and ability to pass NACI background checks. MSA Certification is preferred but not required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform routine physical tasks is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Citizen of the United States of America
- Two-year degree
- Two years of work-related experience
- Certification from an accredited institution
- MSA Certification preferred - not required
- Ability to pass a required level of security clearance (NACI-level background check)
