Medical Supply Logistics Technician*

Job Summary
Receive incoming materials, verify shipments against documentation, and inspect for damage before routing to designated storage locations. Store, stack, and palletize supplies following safety procedures, then prepare and issue medical equipment to authorized personnel. Process supply orders, purchases, and inventory transactions using the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system. Conduct routine physical inventories, reconcile discrepancies, and monitor items for expiration or deterioration. Safely operate government vehicles, forklifts, and pallet jacks to transport supplies between facilities. Maintain a clean warehouse environment by performing housekeeping tasks and adhering to OSHA and Air Force safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 12 months of experience supporting War Reserve Materiel (WRM) in a Department of Defense supply or warehouse environment
- Demonstrated experience with Medical supply operations
- Demonstrated experience with Warehouse inventory management
- Demonstrated experience with Receiving, storage, shipping, and issue processes
- Demonstrated experience with USAF supply procedures and documentation
- Demonstrated experience with WRM allowance standards and inventory maintenance
- Extensive working knowledge of the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system
- Valid U.S. driver's license with the ability to operate government vehicles
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification
- Knowledge of OSHA and Air Force Occupational Safety and Health (AFOSH) standards
- Ability to lift, move, and transport materials in a warehouse environment
- Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including ANSI/ISEA-compliant steel or composite toe safety boots
- Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to performance
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months of experience working in a medical supply warehouse or military medical logistics environment
- Experience supporting Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) or Department of Defense medical logistics programs
- Familiarity with War Reserve Materiel (WRM) management
- Experience with government property accountability and supply documentation
- Current forklift certification
