Medical Supply Logistics Technician

Job Summary
Perform comprehensive supply activities including ordering, purchasing, receiving, storing, palletizing, and inventorying War Reserve Material in accordance with established standard operating procedures and safety regulations. Verify inbound materials against documents, examine assets for deterioration, and report discrepancies. Remove materiel from storage, prepare items for shipment, and execute deliveries to authorized personnel using a government vehicle or hand trucks and forklifts. Manage funds for maintenance and upgrades, maintain a clean work environment, and sweep or mop warehouse floors while disposing of cardboard in designated recycling dumpsters. This role supports the 711th Human Performance Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, assisting the Airman Systems Directorate, USAF School of Aerospace Medicine, and Human Systems Integration Directorate.
Required Qualifications
- US citizen
- Ability to Obtain NACI
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- 12 months demonstrated experience working with and maintaining War Reserve Material in a DoW supply or warehouse setting
- Demonstrated experience with USAF governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, maintaining, inventorying and updating of War Reserve Material Allowance standards
- Extensive demonstrated knowledge and experience of the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Valid forklift training certificate
- Knowledge of OSHA and Air Force Occupational Safety and Health (AFOSH) standards
- Ability to have and wear steel/composite toed boots meeting or exceeding ANSI/ISEA standards
- 10% travel
