Job Summary
Perform diagnostic general and vascular ultrasound procedures requiring independent judgment under physician direction. Prepare patient rooms, operate sonography and electronic radiology equipment, and maintain adequate supply inventory. Explain examinations to patients, complete departmental documentation, and perform non-invasive vascular testing with preliminary interpretations. Requires ARRT or ARDMS registration and a degree in Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Schedule includes Sunday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM with a rotating shift. Required Qualifications
- Degree in Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, related field or completion of a training program acceptable to their registry board
- Registered ARRT or ARDMS
