Job Summary
Perform a variety of sonographic examinations dealing with OB/GYN, abdominal, and small parts. Assist the radiologist during invasive procedures and make clinical judgments of the patient's condition based on information from the referring physician, medical records, patient interview, and personal assessments. Complete Ultrasound training program coursework and maintain National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Requires one year of experience as an ultrasound technologist or intern. Work per-diem shifts with a variable schedule at Swedish Ballard in Seattle, WA.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of Ultrasound training program
- Education sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination
- ~ National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- ~ 1 year of experience as an ultrasound technologist or ultrasound intern
