Job Summary
As a Medical Social Worker (MSW), you will provide patients with access to community resources, ensuring their medical, emotional, and safety needs are met. Responsibilities include participating in developing the Plan of Care, conducting assessments, educating patients and families, and connecting patients to community resources for financial aid. The ideal candidate must have a current MSW license, a Master's degree in Social Work, and at least one year of experience in an acute care setting. Compassionate communication and attention to detail are critical for this role.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Social Worker with a current license in the state of employment
- Minimum one-year experience as a MSW in an acute care setting
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Capable of all physical demands
