Job Summary
Lead the interdisciplinary treatment team in providing compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. Deliver direct clinical services including individual, group, and couple/family therapy to assist patients in determining treatment goals, returning to improved functioning, and forming aftercare plans. Conduct DSM-5-TR diagnostic assessments, provide psycho-education groups, and collaborate with medical providers to support community and healthcare linkage for clients. Maintain third-party payer relationships, complete compliance documentation, and communicate client observations to team members. Represent the program at committees and conferences as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling
- Independent Ohio license (LISW, LISW-S, or LPCC) to practice
- At least two years of experience working with patients with mental illness
- Expertise/training in cognitive-behavioral and/or interpersonal psychotherapy
- Understanding of the psychosocial aspects of chronic illness
- Familiarity and competency with assessment and diagnosis of mental health disorders
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
- Familiarity with addiction services, treatment modalities, and the continuum of care
- Strong understanding of the stages of change model and its application in addiction therapy
