Job Summary
Medical Services Officer providing frontline medical care, emergency response support, injury management, and administrative tasks across the Ravenswood Gold Mine site. Role blends clinical care with emergency services responsibilities, governance, and data/documentation duties to maintain workforce safety and health within a mining operation. 4:3 DIDO roster option mentioned, with in-person remote arrangement for Ravenswood, Queensland. Responsibilities include clinical and injury management, coordinating care and Return to Work processes, maintenance of confidential medical records, participation in site emergency response activities, ESO duties, audits and compliance, administrative duties, and providing coverage across clinic, emergency response, and general admin functions.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse or qualification as a Paramedic
- Current driver's licence
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and administration capabilities
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Experience in mining, industrial, remote, or resource sector environments (Desirable)
- Injury management and Return to Work experience (Desirable)
- Emergency response or ESO qualifications, or willingness to obtain (Desirable)
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and compliance requirements (Desirable)
