Job Summary

Greet patients, obtain demographic and insurance information, and establish accounts while ensuring accurate patient identification and privacy compliance. Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances, then scan documents to confirm and update system documentation. Coordinate with radiologists and referring physicians to review referrals, acquire previous reports for comparison, and obtain authorizations for additional studies. Ensure examination requisitions and medical records are properly completed with correct billing and statistical data. Provide excellent customer service by answering calls, scheduling appointments, and assisting patients before, during, and after visits. Maintain flexibility to float to other locations as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be familiar with medical terminology
