Job Summary
Medical Secretary role supporting cardiology clinics in Murdoch and Rockingham, WA, Australia. Provide warm, professional administrative support with scheduling, invoicing, and coordination of clinics; predominantly based at Murdoch with travel to Rockingham to cover doctor’s list. Requires minimum 2 years in medical secretary roles, familiarity with medical terminology and HealthTrack, strong organisational and communication skills, and ability to liaise with hospitals and health care providers. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a medical secretary role including coordinating a specialist’s schedule, bookings, running clinics and providing a PA service to the specialists
- Strong medical terminology and cardiology terminology (desirable)
- Competent in the use of medical management software (HealthTrack)
- Highly organised, able to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Liaising effectively with all stakeholders including hospital and health care providers
- Good attention to detail and well-developed computer literacy
- Issuing patient invoices and receipts, patient quotes, attending to account enquiries, billing Medicare, DVA and health funds
- Current Australian driver’s license.
