Job Summary
Scribe captures accurate and detailed documentation of patient visits in the EMR, assists physicians with basic patient care and medical procedures (e.g., UA, EKG, lab setups), and helps manage patient flow, site lab compliance, and inventory in a fast-paced urgent care setting. Provides compassionate patient service, supports aftercare and referrals, and maintains a clean, efficient work environment. Requires a High School Degree or GED (undergraduate degree a plus), strong communication and attention to detail, and flexibility for full-time weekend coverage; bilingual skills and Basic Life Support certification are preferred or required at the site. The role offers exposure to CNA/MA/EMT pathways and opportunities for career development in healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or GED
- Undergraduate degree a plus
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Computer proficiency
- Bilingual language skills required or preferred based on site location
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Experience in fast-paced healthcare environments
