Job Summary
Capture accurate patient documentation into the EMR and assist physicians with basic patient care, including phlebotomy, lab processing, and rapid point-of-care testing. Direct patient flow, manage inventory, and ensure site compliance with Department of Health regulations while facilitating diagnostic tests and referrals. Escort patients to facilities, communicate with pharmacies and physicians, and maintain a clean, stocked environment. Work an 8-12 hour shift in a fast-paced urgent care setting, providing compassionate care and adhering to established protocols. Bilingual skills and BLS certification required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or GED
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program
- Phlebotomy certifications
- English language (speaking and writing) skills
