Job Summary
Accurately document patient visits in real time by entering history, exams, results, treatment plans, and prescriptions into the EHR. Assist with labs, radiology reports, and provider orders while charting encounters including diagnostics, labs, treatment plans, and discharge instructions. Interact professionally with patients, providers, and team members to support seamless care and care coordination. Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and HOPCo policies. Assist with training and mentoring other scribes and staff. Work full-time Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm on-site at Southside Clinic.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Medical Assistant/Scribe program or 1 year orthopedic scribe experience
- CNA, Pre-Med students or equivalent healthcare certification
- 2 years of healthcare or back-office experience
- Tech-savvy
- detail-driven
- comfortable in a fast-paced clinic
