Job Summary
Document physician clinical service data into electronic or paper medical records, accurately capturing patient history, physical exams, diagnostic findings, lab results, consultations, diagnoses, discharge instructions, and prescriptions. Complete clerical activities to process physician orders for tests and medications. Perform these duties in a patient care office setting while sitting at a desk with occasional lifting under 25 lbs. This part-time role supports the Dermatology department at Washington University in St. Louis, contributing to the university's mission of research, teaching, and patient care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
- Medical Office Setting (3 Years)
- A driver's license is not required for this position
- All external candidates receiving an offer for employment will be required to submit to pre-employment screening for this position
