Medical Scribe

Document patient exams into the EHR, including contact lens templates and procedure orders, while scheduling return appointments and managing referrals. Provide patient counseling, dispense medication samples, and print glasses or contact lens prescriptions as directed. Review daily chart notes to ensure ICD-10 compliance and accuracy, obtain consent signatures, and run end-of-clinic EHR reports. Set up and maintain exam rooms, clean public spaces, and partner with staff to ensure efficient clinic flow. Handle specimen storage, lab coordination, and MIPS/HIPAA training requirements. Work Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional Saturday mornings and travel to other MEC clinics.
