Job Summary
Observe and record patient encounters and examinations while documenting history, diagnoses, and medical decision-making. Assist in medical management and consult with the care team regarding patient needs. Handle informatics responsibilities for providers during patient visits, ensuring accurate structured clinical assessments and population health workflows. Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to hospital policies. Requires full-time hours from 8am to 5pm, M-F, with a weekly salary of $17.00 - $34.15. Applicants must have advanced communication skills, type 70+ words per minute, and US work authorization. Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other community languages is necessary where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced communication skills
- Ability to type 70+ words per minute
- Basic level of medical knowledge and/or a willingness to learn quickly
- Ability and willingness to take direction and be a member of a team providing patient care
- Excellent reliability
- Compliance with hospital and Oak Street Health policies, including HIPAA
- Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve, where necessary
- US work authorization
