Job Summary
Part-time Medical Screener at BioLife/Takeda plasma center (USA - GA - Morrow). You will screen new and repeat donors, perform donor vital signs and finger sticks, and assist with phlebotomy to support center operations. You’ll answer phones, greet donors, maintain donor charts in the Donor Information System, coordinate donor compensation, and help identify operational opportunities for process improvements. Schedule involves evenings, weekends, and holidays with 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be comfortable working in a bloodborne-pathogen–exposed environment; prior customer or patient-facing experience is helpful. Training is paid and provided, and benefits are offered. The role reports to the Plasma Center Manager and is located at USA - GA - Morrow.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
- Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
- Due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear
- 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful
