Job Summary
Medical Screener at BioLife/Takeda (Part-time) performing as a plasma donor screener and supporting center operations. Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting donors, screening new and repeat donors, recording donor vital signs and finger stick results, using the Donor Information System, preparing donor charts, maintaining accurate records, coordinating donor compensation, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Works a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Reports to the Plasma Center Manager. Requires ability to stand/walk for the shift, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, glove use due to bloodborne pathogen exposure, and 1+ year of customer or patient-facing experience is helpful. Compensation starts at $16.00/hour with a strong benefits package and opportunities for career growth; location options include Houston, TX and Buffalo, TX (on-site roles).
