Job Summary
Develop laboratory services by collaborating with consultants and management to deliver accurate patient results while maintaining strict confidentiality and ethical standards. Contribute to operational services, departmental policy updates, and the implementation of new technologies that support strategic objectives. Uphold professional competency through active participation in continuing education, training, and research initiatives within the multidisciplinary team. This role supports the ongoing development of a laboratory service aligned with the client's mission and strategic plan, fostering effective communication and professional growth for staff.
Required Qualifications
- CORU-registered Medical Scientist
- Eligible for membership of the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine
- Experience with ISO 15189 standards
- Experience with JCI hospital accreditation
- Previous experience in a hospital laboratory setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Demonstrates enthusiasm, adaptability, and a cooperative attitude
- A strong team player with the ability to work independently using their own initiative
Desired Qualifications
