Job Summary
Build and maintain strong scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, and scientific societies across the Nordics. Act as a trusted scientific expert to support the adoption of innovative sensor-based glucose monitoring solutions. Deliver high-quality scientific presentations, educational programs, advisory boards, and training activities while collaborating closely with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, and Commercial teams. Monitor scientific developments and emerging evidence within diabetes and endocrinology. Represent Abbott Diabetes Care at national and international scientific meetings and congresses. This field-based role requires extensive travel across the Nordic region and serves as a bridge between scientific innovation and the diabetes community.
Required Qualifications
- An advanced degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Biotechnology, or another relevant life science discipline
- Experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Scientific Liaison, Clinical Research, or another scientific field-facing role
- A strong understanding of evidence-based medicine, clinical research, and scientific communication
- The ability to engage credibly with healthcare professionals and scientific leaders
- Excellent communication skills in English and (local language)
- A willingness to travel extensively across the Nordic region

- Expertise in diabetes and a strong understanding of the diabetes therapeutic area
