Job Summary
Execute approved field medical plans within your assigned UK territory by cultivating relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and academic centers. Communicate clinical and scientific data through presentations, educational programs, and scientific discussions while collecting, synthesizing, and reporting field medical insights to the Medical Director and internal teams. Provide scientific support for medical congresses, advisory boards, and external engagements to enhance product visibility, ensuring all interactions adhere to regulatory requirements and company compliance policies. Maintain high-quality documentation of scientific interactions and collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Commercial teams to support execution of approved medical strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced life science degree (PhD, MPharm, MD os MSc)
- 8+ years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs, Field Medical, Clinical Development, or a similar role within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Proven experience as an MSL or similar medical affairs role
- Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies and drug development processes
- Knowledge and experience within the oncology therapeutic area
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to analyse and synthesize scientific information effectively
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific data to diverse audiences
- Strong networking skills with proven ability to successfully build and maintain relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals
- Self-directed and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of time
Desired Qualifications
- prior MSL experience in Switzerland
- prior experience in lung and gastrointestinal cancers
