Job Summary
Field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) focused on the Respiratory portfolio in Florida. Responsibilities include executing external engagement strategy with External Experts, professional bodies, and healthcare stakeholders; delivering scientifically rigorous, compliant medical information; disseminating safety information; conducting scientific exchange and presenting to formulary committees and HCPs; staying current on evolving therapeutic areas and competitor products; collaborating across matrix teams (sales, marketing, market access) to align patient-focused strategies; supporting clinical development programs and investigator-sponsored studies; and providing scientific training to healthcare professionals and GSK sales colleagues. Qualifications require PharmD/PhD/DNP/MD with 2+ years in pharmacology/pharmacotherapy and territory-based residency or travel readiness; preferred pharmacindustry/liaison experience and strong computer literacy.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD or PhD, DNP, or MD (with a medical or clinical focus)
- Two or more years' experience in pharmacology and pharmacotherapy in humans
- Must live within territory specified.

- Experience applying pharmacology knowledge in a clinical setting
- Pharmaceutical industry experience or medical liaison experience (preferred)
- Residency or Post-Doctoral training (preferred)
- Strong computer literacy and experience with software applications
- Ability to travel within territory and work cross-functionally with teams (sales, marketing, market access)
- Previous experience in providing scientific training to healthcare professionals and sales representatives
- Knowledge of respiratory, immunology/inflammation, oncology, HIV or infectious diseases fields (therapeutic areas mentioned)
- Ability to conduct scientific exchange, prepare trainings, and support Investigator Sponsored Studies or clinical development programs
