Job Summary

Conduct balanced, non-promotional scientific exchanges with oncology key opinion leaders, investigators, and academic centers to support territory medical plans and execute Medical Affairs strategy. Capture and communicate actionable field insights regarding treatment patterns, evidence gaps, and emerging trends while facilitating investigator-initiated trials and coordinating study site identification. Partner cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to PhRMA Code, FDA regulations, and adverse event reporting requirements. Maintain deep expertise in assigned disease states and treatment guidelines, documenting all stakeholder engagements and follow-up activities. Operate as a field-based expert with approximately 50–75% travel across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and select northern markets, residing within the assigned geography.

Required Qualifications

  • Terminal scientific or clinical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO)
  • Minimum of 2 years of oncology MSL or comparable field medical experience
  • Experience engaging oncology KOLs, academic centers, community oncology practices, clinical investigators, or multidisciplinary cancer care teams within the assigned geography
  • Strong understanding of oncology disease states, treatment landscape, clinical trial design, evidence interpretation, treatment guidelines, and compliant scientific communication
  • Demonstrated ability to engage external experts and communicate complex scientific information clearly, accurately, credibly, and compliantly
  • Strong scientific and clinical acumen with the ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical data and therapeutic concepts to expert audiences
  • Excellent presentation, scientific communication, relationship-building, and virtual/in-person engagement skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, accountable, and able to manage a broad field territory with sound scientific judgment and uncompromising integrity
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to meet healthcare-industry-representative credentialing requirements for facility access
  • Ability to travel approximately 50–75%, including overnight travel for territory visits, internal meetings, medical congresses, advisory boards, and other business needs
  • Candidate must reside within the assigned geography (North/Northeast oncology territory)
  • Ability to support regional travel across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and select adjacent northern markets
