Job Summary
Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Oncology responsible for building peer-to-peer relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers, developing and executing territory plans, providing scientific exchange and clinical support, and participating in medical education activities. This field-based role covers Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, and Montana, with travel expected (typical 60–70% of workdays). The position emphasizes establishing oneself as a scientific expert, staying current on therapy areas and Jazz products, supporting data generation activities, attending scientific congresses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement the US Medical Plan. Requires advanced degree (MD/PharmD/PhD or equivalent) with relevant experience, strong communication and presentation skills, demonstrated ability to travel, and a willingness to engage with external scientific experts in oncology and related fields. Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the therapeutic area of interest.
- License (RN, NP, CNP, PA or equivalent) with a minimum of a Master’s Degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical practice.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a MSL or comparable industry or clinical role is required.
