Job Summary
Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Neuro-Oncology, covering the Mid-Atlantic region, is a field-based role focused on KOL engagement, territory planning, and scientific exchange. Develop peer-to-peer relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers; conduct on-site medical education and advisory activities; provide clinical/scientific support for company-sponsored studies and congress staffing; stay current on neuro-oncology therapy areas, Jazz products, and practice patterns; travel ~60-70% to engage academic centers, hospitals, and regional meetings while maintaining high scientific integrity and compliant engagement with HCPs. Requires advanced degree (PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent) with neuro-oncology experience or relevant licensure with clinical practice, strong communication/presentation skills, planning, and ability to work autonomously.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in neuro-oncology
- License (RN, NP, CNP, PA or equivalent) with a minimum of a Master’s Degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical practice
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a MSL or comparable industry or clinical role is required
- Willingness to travel 60-70% of time
- Valid driver’s license and ability to live within 60 miles of a major airport
