Job Summary
Field-based Medical Science Liaison (neuro-oncology) covering the US Midwest region with 60-70% travel; build and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers, develop territory plans, communicate clinical insights, participate in medical education, support data generation activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ therapeutic portfolio in oncology and neuroscience. Requires an advanced degree (PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent) with neuro-oncology experience, 2+ years as an MSL or similar role, strong scientific communication, strategic thinking, and willingness to travel extensively; located in or near Indianapolis, IN with ability to travel and reside within 60 miles of a major airport. The role is remote-enabled (#LI-Remote) and field-based, compliant with company standards and values.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in neuro-oncology
- License (RN, NP, CNP, PA or equivalent) with a minimum of a Master’s Degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical practice
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an MSL or comparable industry or clinical role
- Willingness to travel 60-70% of time
- Valid driver’s license and live within 60 miles of a major airport
- Experience in neuro-oncology
- Ability to research and critically analyze and communicate complex scientific and medical information and data
- Clear and concise communication and presentation skills
- Excellent planning and organization skills, with high-level attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong strategic mindset
- Demonstrated ability to develop trust and relationships with opinion leaders in disease states of interest
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a rapidly changing environment
