Job Summary
Field-based Medical Science Liaison role covering a broad US territory (KS, MO, IL, KY, OH, IN, IA, MI, WI, MN, ND, SD) with a focus on neuro-oncology; responsibilities include developing peer-to-peer relationships with key opinion leaders, executing territory plans, providing scientific exchange and information, conducting medical education at institutions and conferences, supporting data-generation activities and advisory boards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support Medical Plan execution; requires advanced degree with 3+ years in neuro-oncology, strong communication, strategic planning, analytical and presentation skills, ability to travel 60-70% and work autonomously; travel frequently to meet stakeholders, maintain up-to-date knowledge of therapy areas and Jazz product portfolio; travel and field-based activities with adherence to regulatory standards and company values; remote work is indicated as LI-Remote for US-based candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in neuro-oncology
- License (RN, NP, CNP, PA or equivalent) with a minimum of a Master’s Degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical practice
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a MSL or comparable industry or clinical role is required
- Willingness to travel 60-70% time
- Valid driver’s license and live within 60 miles of a major airport
