Job Summary
Establish and maintain scientific relationships with key opinion leaders while developing a deep understanding of clinical practice in cardiology. Plan and execute medical strategy for assigned customers and serve as the primary resource for addressing unsolicited medical questions. Identify, gather, and document field-generated scientific insights to drive innovative Medical Affairs strategies while complying with industry policies. Requires an MD, PhD, or PharmD with 2+ years of MSL experience and 3+ years in cardiology, including in-hospital launch experience in ICU, CCU, or ED units. This role supports Syneos Health's mission to improve patient outcomes through better biopharmaceutical therapies.
Required Qualifications
- MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent degree
- 2+ years of industry experience as a Medical Science Liaison
- 3+ years of clinical or related practical experiences in cardiology
- In-hospital launch experience
- Experience working as a Medical Science Liaison within a hospital setting, specifically within ICU, CCU, or ED units
- Strong scientific and clinical acumen
- Ability to quickly understand and translate complex scientific data and realize the potential impact of that data on clinical practice and potential research needs
- Syneos Health COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance
Desired Qualifications
- In-hospital launch experience highly preferred
