Job Summary
Establish and maintain scientific relationships with key opinion leaders while developing a deep understanding of clinical practices in cardiology. Plan and execute medical strategies for assigned customers, serving as the primary resource for addressing unsolicited medical questions and scientific exchanges. Identify, gather, and document field-generated scientific insights to drive innovative Medical Affairs strategies in compliance with industry policies. This role requires an MD, PhD, or PharmD with at least two years of MSL experience and three years of clinical experience in cardiology, including in-hospital launch experience within ICU, CCU, or ED units. You will partner with talented clinicians to positively impact patients through cutting-edge clinical data.
Required Qualifications
- MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent degree
- 2+ years of industry experience as a Medical Science Liaison
- 3+ years of clinical or related practical experiences in cardiology
- In-hospital launch experience highly preferred
- Experience working as a Medical Science Liaison within a hospital setting, specifically within ICU, CCU, or ED units
- Strong scientific and clinical acumen
- Ability to quickly understand and translate complex scientific data and realize the potential impact of that data on clinical practice and potential research needs
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
