Job Summary
As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Immunology in NYC/Greater NYC, you will serve as an internal expert supporting the nemolizumab program, cultivating relationships with physicians, NPs, PAs, and other health care professionals to provide compliant medical and scientific information. You will identify and engage key opinion leaders (KOLs), develop engagement plans, contribute to US KOL/institutional strategies, collaborate on data generation and research opportunities (including IITs and posthoc analyses), and support disease-awareness initiatives. The role involves delivering educational presentations, staying current on atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis literature, and facilitating advisory boards and trainings. Travel is expected (approximately 70-80%), with hybrid work options available. A Doctorate degree is preferred, with additional consideration for PharmD/MD/PhD/PA/NP qualifications; multiple years of clinical or medical research experience in Dermatology or Immunology are advantageous. The compensation includes base salary with potential incentives, comprehensive benefits, and a hybrid work schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree & 1-2 years of MSL/Medical Affairs experience preferred
- Pharm.D., Ph.D., PA, NP and M.D. degrees considered
- Three (3) plus years of clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research preferred
- Dermatology or Immunology background preferred
- Biologic and/or launch experience preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
- Ability to interface with external HCP and internal stakeholders
- Understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other US regulatory principles
- Strong scientific/clinical acumen and business acumen
