Job Summary
The Medical Science Liaison for Dermatology is responsible for supporting medical and business strategies through field-based activities aligned with Takeda’s goals. Key responsibilities involve building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs), providing medical insights to enhance the development and life-cycle management of Takeda’s compounds, and executing medical education programs. The role requires advanced knowledge of therapeutic areas and excellent communication skills to connect customers with Takeda to advance medical strategies and improve patient outcomes. Candidates must possess a doctoral degree and have a minimum of five years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or relevant clinical experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with KOLs/HCPs
- Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and drug development phases
- Ability to collect and analyze data to drive business outcomes
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred
- Experience in the therapeutic area
- Solid scientific background in pharmaceutical industry
