Job Summary
Identify and maintain scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in academic and community centers, acting as a primary liaison for investigator-initiated research. Develop and execute geography-specific field medical and KOL interaction plans, providing clinical presentations to address unsolicited questions in group and one-on-one settings. Collaborate with the Clinical organization to enhance patient enrollment in BMS-sponsored trials by identifying appropriate sites and interacting with investigators in ongoing studies. Deliver timely feedback on emerging clinical and scientific opportunities to internal stakeholders. This field-based position requires 50% travel across Northern California and Nevada, with a requirement for an MD, DO, PharmD, DNP, or PhD.
Required Qualifications
- MD, DO, PharmD, DNP, or PhD
- 3-5 years clinical or research experience in hematology
- 3-5 years as a medical science liaison
- Current working knowledge of US legal, regulatory, and compliance regulations and guidelines relevant to industry interactions with health-care professionals
- Ability to partner and maintain relationships within the medical community
- Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
- More than 50% travel
- Field - Northern California and Nevada
