Job Summary
Detail-oriented Medical Records Specialist responsible for obtaining and organizing medical records and bills for a personal injury law firm. Duties include requesting and tracking records, reviewing and organizing documents, summarizing treatment, preparing medical/billing reports for attorneys, maintaining accurate logs, uploading documents into the case management system, and coordinating with clients, providers, and staff. Requires knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and experience with case management software and Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a personal injury law firm or medical office
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and follow-through
- Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office
